McLeod API

McLeod Web APIs

McLeod's web APIs can be consumed in two main ways: Cloud-Hosted or Direct-Hosted (MAP). Selecting the right version depends on your deployment and security needs.

The Cloud-Hosted API runs on McLeod's multi-tenant infrastructure and is designed for secure external integrations through the Innovation Hub. Calls to the cloud are routed to your company server based on the X-Mcld-Tenant and X-Api-Key headers. This routing ensures that McLeod can host multiple customers securely on a single service endpoint.

The Direct-Hosted API connects to a static version of the API that exists on a centralized sandbox MAP server. No calls to the cloud are necessary. The sandbox server is only intended for viewing and testing results of the API. The API endpoints from this server can be used in conjunction with your own private server address.

To switch between Cloud-Hosted and Direct-Hosted versions, click the toggle button in the top left of the documentation page.
